The investors are searching for security in market and the oil companies Exxon Mobil and Chevron has been preferred by investors over other shares because these companies had a better than expected fourth quarterly reports.

These oil companies have sufficient cash resources and they have been refining oil and selling to motor companies and these companies were benefited from the lowering oil prices in market that helped them to get a positive report.
