Majority of Californians favor offshore drilling


The Public Policy Institute of California found that 51% of the residents of California supported offshore oil drilling. As the prices of oil increased in the world market, the call to open the coastal waters for domestic oil production has got support from, President Bush and Republican presidential hopeful Senator John McCain.

The oil price has doubled in a year and the increase in global warming has also posed dangers to the living style of people.
