Toyota cuts sales forecast for 2009

The second largest motor company Toyota Motor Corp., reduced its sales forecast for the year 2009.The company was aiming to make of a sale of 10.4 million vehicles across the world markets .The company reduced its sales forecast to 9.7 million as the gasoline price has been rising in world market and it may reduce the demand of trucks in U.S.
This year the sales are expected to be around 9.5 million .The company halted the production of vehicles like Tundra pickups and Sequoia sport-utility vehicles for three months after the gasoline prices went up.
