Barack Obama’s speech gets highest viewers on TV

More than 38 million American watched television on Thursday night, when Democratic Senator Barack Obama addressed the nation after getting nominated from his party for the general elections for presidential office.
The nomination speech had more number of viewers when compared to the highest watched program of America which is the “American Idol.†The TV channels showing the speech were CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox News and MSNBC.
