Marshall facing charges by son

Son of American socialite Brooke Astor who died at the age of 105 in August has been charged of stealing his mother’s $198 million property. Brooke Astor’s property was built on marrying into rich American family.

Astor’s only child Tony Marshall, a Broadway producer, has been accused by his son Philip that he neglected his mother when she suffered from Alzheimer’s disease. He charged that Marshall deprived his mother of good food and care that she needed in her last years.

He said that he wished that his father will not be sent to prison for committing the offense. Marshall is facing charges of illegal possession of his mother’s property.
