Movie Review: ‘New in Town’

The film is about Lucy Hill, a Miami businesswoman who wishes to become Vice President and she goes from Miami to Minnesota where it is cold and icy. She has to work for a construction project in the area where she is opposed by union leaders and locals initially but later she is accepted by all and she helps people save jobs.

The lead roles in the film are played by Renée Zellweger, Harry Connick Jr., Siobhan Fallon Hogan, J.K. Simmons and Frances Conroy and the film is directed by Jonas Elmer.
