Movie review: “The Day the Earth Stood Still”

The film directed by Scott Derrickson and starring Keanu Reeves as Klaatu is about an alien who goes through evolution to survive climatic changes and he comes to earth where he wants humanity to prevent environmental damage. Klaatu has downbeat opinion about humans and he is not allowed to speak in United Nations.

Klaatu decides to kill United States Secretary of Defense and others, to protect earth’s ability to sustain life.
