Shrek tops the Memorial Day weekend collections

Dreamworks animation movie "Shrek Forever After" topped the list of movies in the Memorial Day weekend as it made a total collection of $43.3 million in the three days Friday to Sunday. The total collection made by the movie is $133.1 million.

The second position was held by Warner Bros. sequel "Sex and the City 2," and the movie made a total collection of $32.1 million. On third position stood "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" which made a total collection of $30.2 million.
