Association between stroke and fast food restaurant’s location

The research conducted by Dr. Lewis B. Morgenstern at the University of Michigan found a link between stroke and location of a fast food restaurant near residence. The researchers said that the risk of stroke increases at least by 1% if the residence is located close to a fast food restaurant.
The researchers studied 262 fast food restaurants and then studied that various socioeconomic data and compared it to get the reports.
