The disease like Asthma lowers effects in boys as they grow up but in girls the problem stays sometimes permanent. The research on the reaction of Asthma was conducted on 1000 children of age group 5-12.

The report on Asthma in kids is published in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine. The reports suggest that boys generally do not suffer from asthma after puberty.
