A risk of the Blood clot disorder, also known as the deep vein thrombosis, increases with the increase in pollution. The clot occurs when blood thickens and the clot can travel from one part of the body to other.

If the blood clot travels to lung it can cause pulmonary embolism. The blood clots have been dangerous because it can even cause heart attacks or strokes. About 60,000 patients have been diagnosed of the problem every year.
