CT scan is dangerous for children

The study by The New England Journal of Medicine said the effect of a single CT scan is not noticeable but a regular exposure to the super X-rays can be harmful for a person.

The worst effect of X ray radiation can be seen on children who are more susceptible to the harmful radiation sent by CT scans.

In fact the radiations can cause cancer in children if they are exposed to it. Long term effects of the radiations are also prevalent.

The potential health concerns on getting exposed to CT scan radiation are being studied by doctors at the American College of Radiology.
