Cystic fibrosis can be caused on intake of second hand smoke

A few human genes are sensitive to the second hand smoke released from a person sitting around the person smoking or from a vehicle etc. The gene can result in a problem called cystic fibrosis.

The researchers from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine studied on the harms caused to the lungs on getting effected by cystic fibrosis and found that environmental factors and genetic factors together are responsible for the lung disease in people. Cystic fibrosis can also injure the digestive system of the person affected.
