Epilepsy’s medicine harmful to baby

Epilepsy drug may lower the IQ of the unborn baby when it is taken by a pregnant woman. Drug such as valproate lowered IQ levels of children of women who were pregnant then.
The report on epilepsy medicine was issued in New England Journal of Medicine and it has been published in April 16 issue. Research on epilepsy medicine was carried out on more than 300 children of age group of 3 years.
