FDA Alert official busy in 2007

The year 2007 is being considered to be a busy year for the FDA alert officials that issued 6 alerts in the last two years to remain effective The Food and Drug Administration this year blocked about 11 products that is a very high number blocked for imports by the FDA.

FDA said that the ban on the 11 product will not be raised until it is tested for safety by the FDA. The imported products are mostly food and drugs that are banned by FDA. A total of 270 alerts issued by FDA are effective which include ones that are 30 year old alerts.
