New York bans trans-fat foods in restaurant

The final ban on serving transfat food items in restaurants and hotels was made in the New York .The transfat food items are not heart friendly and the 10 million residents of the city are at risk on taking such food.

The trans- fat foods were served in restaurants, bakeries, cafeterias, salad bars, food carts and the bakeries or restaurant will have to pay a fine of $2,000 from October 1 if they continue keeping such items in their menu.
