Old fathers’ babies at risk of getting born with bipolar disorder

The researchers at a Swedish centre studied the socio-economic conditions, age and living styles of people found that the people who were born to elderly father were at a risk of getting Bipolar Disorder.

The offspring of father of age above 55 years are more likely to have the bipolar disorder then the offspring’s who are born to men of age 20-24.Though the researchers found no link between mother’s age and child’s mental status.
