Salt limit in processed food concern for heath groups

The practice of salt less fasting in many regions in the world is being carried out from hundreds of years. The researchers are finding that high intake of salt is not beneficial for good health.

The high amount of salt in packaged food or food taken from restaurants can result in diseases like high blood pressure, hypertension and other heart disease and this has been refuted by the scientific group who are asking the government to reduce the quantity of salt taken by average American to avoid a health crisis.

The heath group the Center for Science in the Public Interest is a voluntary group that warned for strict steps to be taken in this area. CSPI has filed petition for cutting the intake of Sodium further.
