Tests reduce deaths in colon problems

The latest studies indicate that the risk of dying can be lowered by almost 60% to 70% through colonoscopies. The tests are better in finding colon problems in the left side of the colon and two third of the deaths on left side of colon can be prevented form tests.

But these tests are not effective in case of right side of colon. The researchers studied 10,000 volunteers in age group of 52 to 90 to get the reports. The research was carried out by doctors at St. Michael’s Hospital in Ontario, Canada.
