California sets goals to cut greenhouse gases

California sets goal to cut greenhouse gases to the levels of 1990 by the year 2020.The Republican governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was first to set carbon emission targets and California’s air pollution board said that they it will give the details of plans to cut emission soon.
The measures to reduce emission of carbon di oxide will include getting 33% of electricity from renewable sources, cutting industry and traffic smoke and have regional transportation systems.
