Floods and storms increased in North America

As per U.S. government study the increased emission of greenhouse gases in North America has seriously affected human health, agriculture and water. The increased atmospheric temperature caused by global warming has resulted in increasing moisture in air.
The high temperatures make atmosphere to absorb more water and that results in thunderstorms and flooding.
