Mercury has evidence of volcanoes

The Messenger spacecraft has reached close to Mercury planet and on Jan. 14 the first set of pictures of the planet was sent by the spacecraft that confirmed a few assumptions made by the scientists related to the planet and even brought out new surprises.

The images show that Mercury has a cliff that is like moon and it looks to be from earliest days that is billion years ago. The planet was studied by scientists through the trove of images and the data that is called “The Spider” and the scientists are analyzing the new features depicted in the images.
