Summer solstice in Northern Hemisphere

In the Northern Hemisphere of earth the summer reached extreme as the sun appears to stand in sky in noontimes and in the Southern Hemisphere winters will arrive. The change happens because of the tilt in earth’s axis.
The change took place at 7:59 p.m. on Friday that was marked to be the longest day of sunlight in the year. The solstice prevents light form directly hitting the earth’s equator through out the year.
