China tops the medal list in Beijing Summer Olympics

China won the maximum medals in the summer Olympics that ended in Beijing .China got a total of 49 gold and U.S. received a total of 34 gold. This is for the first time after 1948 that China received highest golds.

Earlier Russia and America topped in the Olympics medal lists in the past 15 games. The Chinese Huo Liang, who got seven golds, said that the players were trained hard and they tried their best in the games.
