Federer wins third round in U.S. Open

Roger Federer won in the third round of U.S. Open over the 28th seeded Radek Stepanek by 6-3, 6-3, 6-2.Roger was No 1 sometime back ,has been defeated by Rafael Nadal in the French Open and in the Wimbledon finals.

Federer is trying to get his top rank back from the U.S. open matches. For the first time Federer is not Number one in the Grand Slam tournament and in the ATP rankings.
