Olympic torch reaches Australia

Amidst minor protests the Olympic torch reached Australia and there were people who carrying Chinese flags and many were carrying Tibetan flags during the Olympic relay on Thursday morning.

Before the relay Chinese groups appeared on television to show their support for China and minor clashes were reported between the two opposing groups. ”The police formed a barrier around the runners in the relay to avoid any clash.
