Phelps makes history by winning eight golds in Olympics

The American swimmer Michael Phelps made a new Olympics record by winning the eighth gold medals in the Beijing Olympics. Phelps got the record after winning in men’s 4 x 100m medley relay swimming.
Phelps completed the race in a record time of 3:29.34.The previous record of getting highest golds in Olympics was held by American Mark Spitz who won seven medals in 1972 Munich Olympics.
