Serena claims third U.S. open title

Serena Williams won the title of the U.S. open after the final match on Sunday night. Serena won by 6-4, 7-5 Jelena Jankovic to get her third U.S. Open title. Jelena was appearing for the first time in U.S. open finals.

Jelena said that she did not make use of her opportunities and lost the game. Jelena was at No. 1 in the last month rating and she was praised by the crowd for her game .She said that she lost her No.1 rank and that was not fair.
