Android beats iPhone in the first quarter sales
In U.S. Android succeeded in beating iPhone in the first quarter sales reports. Android accounted for 28% of the Smartphones sales and as per the NPD reports Android was ahead of iPhones by 21 % and Motion’s Blackberry accounted for 36% of the market share.
Android’s share increased but it is still behind RIM, Apple and Windows mobile .Google operating system accounted for 9% of the market share in Feb. 2010 and iphone held 25.4%.
