Blu ray has not won over HD DVD

Blu –ray players have been expecting that the increasing popularity of the products will remove HD DVD from the markets and the companies like Toshiba announced at the start of the year that it will stop making HD DVD, to encourage production of Blu ray.

But Blu rays are high price products and DVDs are inexpensive and the online digital download offers have forced consumers to use DVDs.
