Britain watchdog: Microsoft discourages competition

A complaint has been filed by a British Watchdog Agency that said that the new file formats introduced by Microsoft for storing documents discouraged competition in market

The British agency works in education and information technology wanted the investigating team to carry out investigation to find out if the company deliberately disallowed rivals to view the information. The complaint has been filed against OfficeOpen XML files.
