Firefox 3 makes a new Guinness World Record

The internet browser, Firefox 3 web browser made a new Guinness World Record of highest number of downloads of the software in 24 hours. The software Mozilla’s mirrors recorded 8,002,530 complete download in a day.

The marketing carried out for the internet browser for downloads were done by Mozilla’s global marketing team. And the idea to get highest number of downloads was made public in May.
