Google informed that it accidently collected wi fi data (unencrypted) sent over private networks and it said it has been doing this for last three years. Google earth has been collecting the three dimensional pictures of landscape and it was found in a audit in Germany that the data collected came from payload data found in open networks.

The latest information raises questions over the privacy policies accepted by the online provider of information.
