Internet worm on windows machines

Many windows machines in countries Japan, Brazil, Turkey, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Taiwan, China, Mexico, Canada, Argentina, and Chile have been attacked by worm dubbed Win32/Conficker.A that exploits windows vulnerability in attacking a machine.

The worm doesn’t attack Ukrainian computers and it opens a random port between 1024 – 10,000 to attack a machine .The worm works like a web server in the machine in which it stays. The worm exploits MS08-067 as it downloads a copy of worm from internet with a .jpeg extension and it is saved to local machine with name dll.
