NASA cancels contract to buy spacesuit
suits
The space agency NASA cancelled the $745 million contract with a Houston company Oceaneering International to buy the hi-tech suits. The company is known for giving deep water services and for making products to be supplied to the oil and gas industry.

NASA said that they cancelled the contract for the sake of government though the award of contract was protested by Exploration Systems & Technology that has been making suits since 1960.NASA had ordered 109 suits out of which 24 were to be used in lunar models.
