NASA will donate space shuttle

NASA will donate one of its space shuttle to Smithsonian and the organization announced to sell other shuttles to educational institutions and museums. NASA offered to give an engine for price between $400,000 and $800,000.

The space shuttle will cost $42 million — $28.2 million to remove harmful material, the transportation cost will be $5.8 million and $8 million for public display. NASA will see if the organization has the capability to keep the shuttle and display it or not.
