One Laptop per Child

Through OLPC, organizations are trying to sell out the low cost laptop under a program called Give One Get One. The program is for people in US who will have to pay $399 to get a laptop for them and also donate a laptop to a child of a least developed country named in UN’s list.

The One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) spokeswoman replied that the donated laptops will go to countries like Afghanistan, Haiti, Rwanda, Mongolia and Cambodia where the children could not afford to buy a laptop for themselves.

There has been a lot of speculation over where the donated laptop which is unclear to the customers as how it will benefit anybody.
