Sony pulled its Playstation 3 update after complaints were filed by customers that reported that the system was useless. The version 2.40 of Playstation 3 was released by Sony on July 2.

The servers of Sony removed the version of Playstation the next day after users started reporting complaints about the latest version of the system. It is still not clear if the affected PS3 owners will have to repair the console or they will return it to Sony to get it fixed.
