Yahoo plans to lay off employees

Yahoo Inc. has to regain its financial status and it has planned to lay off 1000 workers from the company which is said to be a needed step for the process of transformation by the company. Earlier the company had dismissed 650 employees in the year 2000 to catch up with the dot com competition.

The company will be registering a 23% low in the fourth quarter profits made by the company and the final reports and details by the company related to the laying off will be announced in February.
