Additional 17, 000 troops deployed in Afghan

U.S. president Barack Obama announced the deployments of additional troops in Afghanistan and he informed about authorization of 17,000 more troops to join combat forces in Afghanistan. The deployment will start from May and the U.S. forces in Afghanistan will increase by 50%.

Additional 32,000 non U.S. NATO troops have also joined the forces in Afghanistan and Obama said an urgent action is required in the area to control Al Qaeda.
