War costs can go up to $140 billion

America may have to spend at least $140 billion in the year to support Iraq and Afghanistan wars. The annual cost of wars will drop for the 2010 fiscal year to $130 billion and after that the expenditure on war may drop to $50 billion.

Half of the money required for the Afghanistan and Iraq war has already been appropriated by the house and it is expected that a supplement may be required later to the present budget.
