22 get killed in Afghanistan earthquake

22 got killed in eastern Afghanistan when two earthquakes hit the region. Many homes were destroyed and police launched rescue operation in the area to pull out people from the debris of rubble homes.

About 200 homes have been destroyed by earthquake and President Hamid Karzai gave condolences to the tribal and officials of the region. Quake mostly affected the Khogyani and Sherzad region of province Nangarhar.
