After riots monasteries reopen

The Buddhist monasteries Sera Monastery were closed after the riots broke out in regions of Tibet but after the Chinese government has agreed to meet the Buddhist leader Dalai Lama, the monasteries have been reopened in Lhasa but with legal guidelines.

The monasteries have also been ordered to teach religious and patriotic lessons that will denounce Dalai Lama and accept the China appointed religious leader Panchen Lama. The monasteries were closed after March 14 riots.
