Central Intelligence Agency used British island for refueling
Two US flights that were carrying terrorism suspects were refueled at the British owned island of Diego Garcia that is located in the Indian Ocean in the year 2002 and this was reported by the House of Commons. The admission of using the British island for refueling was made by the, David Miliband, Britain’s foreign secretary.
This proved that U.S. and Britain have been long time partners in using rendition flights and the secret movements of prisoners from one country to other has been carried out by U.S . and Britain which is illegal as it is against extradition rules.
