China to talk over Human Rights issue

China was getting criticized by the US over the Human Rights issue. Yang Jiechi, the Chinese Foreign Minister yesterday announced in the media conference that the country will have dialogue over the human rights with US. The conference was also attended by U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice who has been on a 24 hour visit to China.

The human rights issue was aimed at China that has been also related to the hosting of 2008 Olympics by the country. The game hosting is being used as a platform by the human right groups to mount pressure on China over punishing journalists and putting them in jail for independent reporting.
