Cold weather effects transportation in China

The people on China are annoyed over ineffective handling and emergency management by the government for the cold weather. The area in China like in the southern city Guangzhou had about 600,000 people unable to get out of the place for the transportation problem. The Prime Minister Wen Jiabao made a visit to the city to check the situation in the area.

The trains and stations have been affected after heavy snowfall and cold weather hit the area resulting in power cuts that made the trains movement difficult. About 460,000 army troops have been ordered to reach the places to provide relief to the passengers and residents.
