Curfew in Philippines as soldiers’ rebel

Gloria Arroyo, the president of Philippine said that she was in control of the army and people in Manila are safe after the coup attempt by rebel soldier was nullified by Philippine troops.

The soldiers who rebelled were arrested by the army. This has been a third rebel against Arroyo’s rule in the last six years.

The army arrested, the rebel soldiers and their supporters that included Roman Catholic priests, from a luxury Peninsula Hotel located in Manila. Arroyo had imposed a curfew in the city last night after the attacks.
