Deputy Prime Minister of Hussein faces trial

The trial opens for the deputy prime minister of Saddam Hussein, Tariq Aziz who has been the public face of Saddam when he was ruling in Iraq. Mr. Aziz has been charged of execution of Iraqi merchants.
Mr. Aziz, 72, looked feeble as he arrived at the trial and if he gets convicted he will have to face death penalty. Others who will have to face charges are Mr. Hussein’s bother Watban Ibrahim al-Hassan and his cousin Ali Hassan al-Majid.
