Eight civilians killed in Basra

The U.S. air strikes killed eight civilians in Basra city that included two women and a child. The Iraqi police reported the causalities on Saturday. The attacks were aimed at the Shiiet militants who are followers of the cleric Muqtada al-Sadr.

The Iraqi official said that the attacks resulting in causing civilian causalities could have been carried out by British jets but the officials couldn’t confirm the claims. The British military said that it is looking into the reports.
