Electoral commission Zimbabwe announces run-off

The electoral commission in Zimbabwe announced almost after a month of voting on Friday that the opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai has won in the elections against the current President Robert Mugabe, but the difference in votes is not enough to avoid a run off.
The election officials reported that Mr. Tsvangirai, got a total of 47.9% of votes as compared to Mr. Mugabe’s who got 43.2 percent, but to avoid run off 51% votes are needed and the date of run off has not been announced by the commission.
